Hail, by Angels mistress owned!

Root of Jesse! Gate of morn!

When the world's true Light was born.

Glorious Virgin, joy to thee,

Loveliest whom in heaven they see;

Fairest thou where all are fair!

Plead with Christ our sins to spare.
